VIDEO How It Works
Customized Education
A combined team of CEE staff and UC Berkeley faculty work with our clients one-on-one to identify specific challenges, opportunities, and objectives that form the core of the organization's needs. We then develop and deliver a uniquely-tailored program that provides participants with the skills and knowledge needed to provide tools to empower change in direction and strategy.
To help you get started on your customized education, our team will conduct a thorough "needs assessment" to help determine your organizations' best approach to learning. Depending on the needs of your company, we'll tailor current executive education courses offered or create a completely customized program that specifically targets to your learning objectives.
Benefits
Clear Focus on Results
Well-integrated programs are the foundation of our portfolio. The program architecture provides a framework for viewing the individual sessions as part of a comprehensive whole. Our approach to custom programs recognizes the multi-dimensional aspects of business challenges and the knowledge needed to successfully overcome them.
All our programs favor linking experience to theory as a primary learning tool, and the immediate application of theory is an important part of this process. In order for learning to be truly effective, the theories and concepts taught are reinforced by practical application tied directly to the participants’ on-the-job experience.
With a clear focus on results, we use the ROI Methodology to enhance and support the implementation processes. In partnership with our clients, the CEE team assists in collecting data during all levels of the assessment and analysis.
The benefits of our custom education programs and the ROI Methodology are:
A clear review of the objectives of the program
Evaluation plans that include data collection during the program as well as after implementation
Assessment of isolated effects of the program including estimates of participants' impact, and future challenges
Opportunity to convert data to monetary value
Opportunity to calculate return on investment
Ability to identify intangibles such as increased customer satisfaction, improved teamwork, reduced conflicts, increased flexibility, and improved communications
Ability to develop, report, and communicate clear results
After the program, we provide ongoing business advisory services to ensure that the knowledge gained at the Center for Executive Education continues to provide a clear framework for action, and that strategy and tactics remain aligned within the clients organization.
