Doy Charnsupharindr is an executive coach and an instructor of MBA-level courses on developing leadership, communication, and coaching skills. He has taught at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, UC Davis’ Graduate School of Management, the Center for Executive Education at UC Berkeley, and the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
As an executive coach and consultant, Doy draws upon his prior professional experiences in management, customer service, business strategy, operations, and product management for the financial services and high technology industry. Today, he coaches and leads workshops for some of the largest corporations, nonprofits and governmental organizations worldwide.
Doy holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics from Stanford University. He is a graduate of BECI’s Executive Coaching Institute. Growing up in a multilingual household and living both in Southeast Asia and North America, Doy developed a deep awareness for different points of view, which informs his coaching practice.
While at Stanford he directed a cappella group Stanford Mixed Company, produced an album, and won the 2001 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award for one of his many arrangements. His love for the performing arts extended to other stages as an actor and a dancer, and today Doy uses his extensive performing arts experiences to enable others to develop their communication skills and leadership presence.
