Sustainability and clean energy have made technological leaps and bounds in the past several years, but technology is just a jumping off point for achieving the true potential in these areas.
Businesses are continuously developing new commercialization strategies and markets that make investment in clean technology and sustainability mandatory for continued global growth.
We have developed several new programs that cultivate leaders at the forefront of managing these strategies. The ability to capitalize in this realm is essential for both business and the environment, and the leaders are created right here at the UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education.

The Cleantech Institute investigates commercialization, and takes the analysis deep and wide. Economy and innovation meet policy and the market to form a picture of a cleantech company's lifecycle.
An advisory board culled from seasoned public and private leaders and academic researchers gives the program a unique and crucial blend of ideas and expertise.
Business experts who attend will strengthen their cleantech commercialization know-how; cleantech industry natives will stay at the forefront of political and scientific issues; and investors and entrepreneurs will learn to maximize cleantech-specific ROI.
The Cleantech Institute begins this September, with the Cleantech Primer (Sept. 28) and the two-day program (Sept. 29-30).

Norwegian oil giant StatoilHydro came to the UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education with a unique need: to develop executives capable of executing large-scale multi-national projects in a variety of countries and political and cultural systems.
For the past two years, our Center has drawn faculty from an unprecedented number of disciplines to empower StatoilHydro executives with the breadth necessary to operate on a global, cross-cultural platform.
We work closely with experienced StatoilHydro executives to maximize the actionable, company-specific takeaways for project leaders. Ethics, business sustainability, and technology all play a part in tailoring the program to StatoilHydro's needs.
