Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions Executive Program

Solomon Darwin

Solomon Darwin is the Executive Director of the Center for Financial Reporting and Management at the Haas School of Business. He guest lectured on topics related to Profit Center Accounting and Corporate Reorganization at Stanford University, Drucker School of Management and American Accounting Association. In addition to his fourteen years of financial management experience in multinational companies, he was an Associate Professor for nine years at USC’s Marshall School of Business before joining Haas. While at USC he was the India Desk Officer for the MBA program in 2004. He is the President and Chairman of Project India from 1986 to the present. Professor Darwin teaches in the Haas MBA and CEE programs and directs National and International Financial Reporting Conferences and programs.


Suneel Udpa

Suneel Udpa is a lecturer at the Haas School of Business.  He received his M.S. in Business and his Ph.D. in Accounting from Washington University, St. Louis, MO.  From 1997-99, Professor Udpa was the Chair of the Department of Accounting at St. Mary’s College of California. From 1990-93, he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Emory University in Atlanta.  His consulting interests are in the areas of cost systems, incentive contracts, and valuation for mergers & acquisitions. He has won the Earl F. Cheit Outsanding Teaching Award at the Haas School of Business twice (2003, 2006).
