Effective Governance in Nonprofit Organizations Today

Program Description

A program on effective governance is a valuable, timely resource for board members and officers of nonprofit organizations serving in today’s turbulent environment.  This program offers the opportunity to update and sharpen skills and knowledge of best board practices in today’s nonprofit sector.

We will prepare you to be a responsible and effective board member in this era of increasing accountability. You will become familiar with up-to-date best practices and information on financial oversight, strategy, resource development, decision-making, and new ways to work in networks, collaborations, and mergers.

At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the Center for Executive Education at the University of California, Berkeley.
