The Berkeley Corporate Board Workshop

For Board Members who wish to become more effective directors, The Berkeley Corporate Board Workshop is a two-day program to help you think about your board role(s) in broader terms, and to generate lasting value for the shareholders you represent. Unlike the majority of board programs that focus on governance and compliance, The Berkeley Corporate Board Workshop provides a broader and (partly) case-based approach to challenge traditional thinking and expand your mindset through candid discourse among an elite cohort.

Overview of the Board Workshop

In an increasingly complex world defined by the need to scale rapidly, companies face leadership challenges on how to balance the need to scale with other strategic objectives. The state of the markets and the amount of private capital has led to historic high valuations for private companies. This in turn has led to increased media scrutiny on companies and leadership. The issue of diversity on boards and leadership teams is now squarely in the public eye. Today’s board challenges go well beyond basic governance and compliance issues. There is a clear and demonstrated need to identify fresh thinking to address these complex board challenges.
