Female Leadership Custom Programs
When Berkeley Executive Education worked with the senior leadership team at Visa to create Visa Executive Edge, they designed a program to give exceptional women leaders within Visa a way to accelerate their career and find their authentic leadership voice. The goal was to empower program participants to own and drive positive change and results throughout Visa in a dynamic global marketplace.
In Visa Executive Edge, participants came into the program as inspired, committed leaders and left with enhanced skills and confidence to put newly gained learnings into action. Initial steps outside of their comfort zone soon became giant leaps with encouragement from Visa senior leaders and the strong support of other Visa Executive Edge participants, and the impact has been felt throughout the organization globally.
Berkeley Executive Education also plays a strategic leadership role in the development of female leaders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), under the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud's Vision 2030, Berkeley faculty have developed and delivered the KAUST Saudi Leadership Program to over sixty women in three years. Faculty Leader, Kellie A. McElhaney reports, “'The women in the KAUST program are highly educated, motivated and driven to become leaders. I learn as much from them as I teach, and have become a better professor because of them.” This custom program focuses on equipping leaders with new skills and mindsets to help them shape the future of higher education, business and innovation in the Kingdom.
