Steven Huff is a Visiting Associate Professor of Marketing at Haas and Associate Dean of the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from Haas, an MBA from BYU’s Marriott School, and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Utah State University.
With over 20 years of teaching experience across five universities, he has taught over 60 courses and over 2,200 students, including the core marketing course in the EMBA program at Haas since 2014. His teaching spans marketing strategy, product management, data and analytics, digital marketing, and creativity and problem solving—all with a focus on helping students learn, grow, and achieve their highest potential.
In addition to his academic work, he has significant consulting and corporate education experience, serving clients ranging from startups to global corporations such as 3M, Adobe, Intel, and Cisco. His projects have spanned industries including fintech, healthcare, business intelligence, tax and audit, consumer products, industrial equipment, mining, software, and beverages. Earlier in his career, he worked in marketing at Intel’s Network Equipment Division and as a computer engineer at L-3 Communications.
