If you no longer have access to the email account associated with your certificate or if you completed a program prior to 2020, please submit a support request.

What is the enrollment deadline for a program?

The enrollment deadline for each program is dependent upon the amount of pre-work required for that program. Pre-work can include surveys, assessments, and required reading.

To ensure all pre-work can be completed prior to the program start date, enrollment for a program may close early. Please check the individual program description for the exact date of the enrollment close.

What can I expect after I enroll?

Whether you enroll and pay in full, or reserve a seat with payment arrangements, you can find important information and resources for your upcoming program in our customer portal

We will also send email communications related to your upcoming program, so be sure to provide any required responses in a timely manner.

Shortly after submitting payment in full, you will receive a welcome email message from the program services team.

The welcome email, will include introductions from your Program Manager (your primary point of contact for your Berkeley experience), recommended hotels for your stay at Berkeley, and details regarding your program and any required pre-work—if applicable.

Do I need a visa to attend a program?

For most international participants, a B1/B2 visa—for participation in scientific, educational, professional, or business conventions, conferences, or seminars—is required for entry into the United States to attend a program with us.

Requesting and receiving a visa takes time and we recommend beginning the process three or four months in advance of the start date of a program.

When applying for a visa, you can ask your Program Manager to prepare an invitation letter to help with your visa application. It is important to emphasize that the visit is for business purposes.

The Visa Waiver Program is available to citizens or nationals from select countries. Check the Department of State website to determine your eligibility and learn about the waiver process.

What are my options if a program date is sold out?

Waitlisted program dates are clearly labeled on the program page. Click the "Join Waitlist" button to add yourself to the list. If a program seat becomes available due to cancellations or transfers, wait-listed individuals will be contacted on a first come, first serve basis.

Our programs are limited in size to maximize the participant experience and interaction with faculty, guest speakers, and other participants. Due to this limitation, we often experience sold-out situations, so it's important to enroll and to pay in full early to guarantee your seat in the program.

How much time can I expect to spend on coursework each day?

We know that time away from the office is precious, so we work hard to make our program experiences as productive and valuable as possible. Our programs span full business days starting between 8:30-9:00 a.m. and running through 5 p.m. with lunch served in the classroom and short breaks throughout the day.

Approximately 1-2 hours of evening activities and preparation for the next day are required for some programs. Please refer to the individual program sample schedule for more detail.

How do I enroll in a program?

Enrolling in any one of our programs is simple:

  • Click on the "enroll" button on the program page
  • Create an account or log in to our customer portal
  • Completed the online reservation form (should take less than 2 minutes)
  • Pay by credit card to complete your enrollment, or select your preferred payment type to reserve your seat and connect with the finance team

*Application requirements will be clearly noted on applicable program pages.

What kind of certificate will I receive upon completion of the program?
