Collin Prell brings a strong background in public and non-profit governance and public affairs to his role as Community Engagement Manager at Berkeley Executive Education (BEE). In this role, Collin focuses on creating meaningful, high-touch participant experiences that foster connection, strengthen relationships, and support the long-term growth of Berkeley Exec Ed’s executive community. He is passionate about building inclusive, mission-driven communities that reflect BEE’s commitment to positive impact on business and society.

Prior to joining Berkeley Executive Education, Collin served in the United States House of Representatives for Congressman Jared Huffman, as a District Representative. where he worked closely with constituents, federal agencies, nonprofits, and local organizations to deliver for the constituents of California’s North Coast. His experience as Congressman Huffman’s Veterans Affairs and Military Representative, and his role overseeing grants tracking and analysis and stakeholder engagement for Marin and Sonoma Counties, was vital to maintaining and improving constituent advocacy across the Second District of California. Earlier in his career, Collin led community partnerships for Habitat for Humanity, collaborating with university partners and student organizations to advance affordable housing initiatives and large-scale volunteer engagement.

Collin holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, graduating summa cum laude. He is deeply committed to lifelong learning, public service, and relationship-driven work, and enjoys connecting with people through shared experiences and community-centered initiatives. You can often find Collin on the tennis court or hiking around across the Bay Area.
