Iris Ramirez is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a passion for learning and embracing Haas’ Student Always Principle. She is a collaborative and thoughtful partner who has contributed a wealth of expertise in program management and strategic decision making since joining the Program Services Team at Berkeley Executive Education in April 2020.
As of October 2023, Iris transitioned to the dynamic Client Solutions team where she leverages her program management expertise to drive business growth forward. As Client Solutions Sales Manager, Iris is committed to increasing client satisfaction and equipping global leaders with the tools needed to make a positive impact in the world.
Iris began her studies at Santa Barbara City College and transferred to UC Berkeley where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Peace & Conflict Studies. After graduating, Iris quickly became involved with the Berkeley community. She served as Assistant Director of Kids’ Village Afterschool Program at Rosa Parks Elementary, a non-profit afterschool program in West Berkeley. During her time at Kids’ Village, Iris organized community events and facilitated a STEM filled curriculum for K-5 as Super Science Saturdays Instructor. Her experience hosting and organizing family events for 300+ children and families equipped her for her later work at Berkeley Executive Education.
Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Iris enjoys spending time outdoors by the beach with her family and friends. She takes pride in her Mexican heritage and is a native Spanish speaker. Iris loves to spend her free time traveling, trying new cuisines, and having life chats over coffee with friends.
