Berkeley Executive Education at the University California Berkeley Haas School of Business is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mahidol University in Thailand.

With increased globalization of services and products, Thai corporations are experiencing massive change in how they operate and must adapt in order to succeed. In partnership with Berkeley Executive Education, Mahidol University is developing a program for senior leaders at top tier companies in Thailand to best lead change within in their organizations and to increase resilience.

In fact, despite low business confidence from locals after the recent economic and social changes in Thailand, according to Dezan Shira & Associates, foreign businesses continue to be attracted by Thailand’s strategic position between China and India. Businesses in Thailand have entered a time where innovation will be critical for ongoing success during such a fluid, fast-changing world of constant and disruptive change.

Session topics include:

  • Organizational Culture and Context
  • Managing Risk and Uncertainty
  • Design Thinking
  • Leading Through Change

Over the course of the program, participants will assess their leadership personas and instinctive approaches to driving change. Led by Faculty Director, Homa Bahrami, participants will travel to Berkeley Executive Education for an onsite immersive classroom experience filled with experiential activities, case studies, small group discussions, and expert panel discussions. Participants will receive first hand exposure to San Francisco Bay Area incubators and/or startups, businesses and public sector entities showcasing innovation.

Specifically, senior executive participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop their capabilities at a strategic level to embrace disruptive change and drive focused execution in their organizations
  • Remove organizational barriers and enablers that can inhibit or promote change, and agility
  • Drive change continuously, using a systematic approach, enabling crisis management
  • Increase innovative thinking and mindset

With this partnership, Mahidol University joins a list of distinguished universities working with UC Berkeley Executive Education including CKGSB, Fudan, and BI Norway.
